Crowns or bridges are placed if the original teeth or molars need to be replaced permanently.
The dentist takes a little layer of the tooth or molar to make room for the crown or bridge. Then we look at the desired color together with you.
We make an impression of your teeth for our dental technician so that he can give the crown or bridge the correct shape on the model. You will go home with an emergency crown or bridge.
In the laboratory, your crown or bridge is made to measure and color by our dental technician.
After about two weeks, the crown or bridge will be placed. This will be performed by your dentist.
Before making an appointment for this treatment, we would like to see you first to discuss the options. You can contact us by phone or send us an email to make an appointment.

A crown is a cap made of all-ceramic material that fits exactly over a tooth or molar.
A bridge is two or more crowns that are connected to each other via a bridge part. The bridge is made by our dental technician to replace missing teeth. These bridges are always very solid because we connect the metal parts well with the durable porcelain. This porcelain is wear-resistant so that we can even make the chewing surfaces of porcelain.
A crown is needed if:
Depending on the health of the tooth or molar underneath, a crown will last for many years. It is important to know that a crown is not completely insensitive to tooth decay. Keeping the crown and gums clean is therefore very important.
This can differ per (pre-) treatment. You can request a budget for the treatment with an indication of the costs. The dentist will charge the costs of the crown itself separately. The costs are partly determined by the material of which the crown is made and the durability. The dentist calculates the purchase costs for this; on request you have the right to view the invoice for the crown.
