Our veneers provide a fresh natural look
Veneers are porcelain covers that are attached to teeth to correct imperfections.
The dentist takes a thin layer of the tooth enamel to make room for the porcelain veneer. Then we look at the desired color together with you.
We make an impression of your teeth for our dental technician so that he can correctly shape the veneers on the model. You will go home with temporary veneers.
In the laboratory, your veneers are made to measure & color by our dental technician.
The veneers will be placed after about two weeks. This will be performed by your dentist.
Before making an appointment for this treatment, we would like to see you first to discuss the options. You can contact us by phone or send us an email to make an appointment.
A dental veneer does not require any additional maintenance. As always, you will have to keep your teeth clean. Brush with an electric toothbrush. Use toothpicks, brushes or floss regularly to clean between the teeth as well.
A thin layer of the tooth enamel is usually what the dentist takes of first, so that the veneer fits well over the tooth and is comfortable. You can get anesthesia for this. When placing the veneers it is often not necessary to get anesthesia.
Depending on the health of the tooth or molar that is underneath, a facing will last for many years. It is important to know that a facing is not completely insensitive to tooth decay. Keeping the facing and gums clean is therefore very important. In addition, we recommend that you do not bite off hard foods with veneers.
You can request a budget with associated codes from our dentists prior to the appointment. This way you can check with your insurer what will be covered.
Porcelain veneers are made by a dental technician as indicated on this page and then placed on the tooth by the dentist. Composite veneers are applied directly to the tooth by the dentist. A composite veneer is cheaper than a porcelain facing. A porcelain veneer absorbs little or no color compared to the composite facing, where slight discoloration can occur, for example in smokers and in people who consume a lot of dyes from food and drinks.
